II. [Event: Horoscopes]

[Days 1-5]
[Being new in this place, it takes Sabo several hours browsing the journal to actually realize something weird is up. But since he doesn't really know anyone that much yet, and Ace and Luffy (although with more boobs) are more or less themselves, Sabo shrugs this off and spends his days in the forest, training by fighting wild animals trying to eat him or fishing by the river.]

[Day 6, Action]
[There is a rooster in Sabo's room today. It's nestled on his chest when he woke up so he and the chicken exchanged peaceful, post-sleep stares before Sabo's brain catches up to what's actually happening. This is followed by the sound of a young boy flailing and yelling, flapping wings and loud, indignant squawking. Several minutes and multiple scratches later, Sabo quickly flips his journal open to find a strange message: Adopt a chicken. ...Okay, he doesn't know what to make of that.]

Uh, hey! Is anyone missing a pet? Er... A chicken? I--no, it's a rooster, actually. He might've wandered in my room and---Hey, stop that! [Said rooster now nudges its way into the screen, and just when it looks like it's going to crow like a normal rooster, it coos. Sabo manages to wrench the journal away.] So yeah, if this guy's yours, give me a call! I'll bring him back. [After that, Sabo goes outside to explore. And tagging persistently after him is a rooster.]

[Day 7, Action]
You have something in your teeth.

[Something's different about Sabo today, and those who know what he normally looks like would notice it at once. Perfect set of teeth. And this will last all week.]

[Day 8, Action]
You have a gay sibling. Shhh.

[Ace, Luffy... If you run into your little bro around, he'll be walking right up to you, give you a hug, and very solemnly say:] No matter what your choices in life are, you have my full support!

[Marco... he's going to be a little more weird to you. He'll actually bow his head while shaking your hand.] You're helping Ace all the time, right? Thank you very much for that. I guess he might get a bit shy for that kind of thing.

[Note: gay = okama in this kid's head. It explains Luffy's boobs, okay?]

[Day 9-10, Action]
[You will become illiterate as soon as you finish this sentence.

And sure enough, the once readable text is now a bunch of undecipherable squiggles. For someone who dreams of writing a book, this is one very horrible, horrible thing to happen. This day is going to be spent in frantic search of books, of any reading materials actually, and he'll end up making a bit of a mess in the library.]


[All throughout the week, the adopted rooster eventually named "Keloggs" after one particular cereal brand he saw in the food shop will be sticking by his side. Feel free to run into him everywhere!]

[He lets out an annoyed "gaaah", and runs a hand over his face.] Okay, let's rewind. What "stuff" are you talking about?

[Robin is coming to the library. Smoker or not, this is a natural progression for her and it's somewhat comforting when even trolling isn't as fun as it used to be.]

When she gets there she's surprised to see an unfamiliar boy making a complete mess of things. As if he's looking for something]

[Sabo looks up at the voice. Outwardly, he looks calm enough. Or at least, he's trying his best not to freak out. So he's gotten some creepy messages lately, and they all end up coming true in one way or another. It's some sort of weird magic, he guesses, since it magically brought back his tooth that's been missing since he's five. But.... to steal his ability to read and write? He can't accept this, magic or not!

So he picks up a piece of paper, one of the many scattered on the floor, and approaches the man.] Yes, please. Can you read this for me? It's a short history of my hometown. I wrote it.

[It's a fairly detailed account of the Goa Kingdom. Too bad it's nothing but highly unreadable scratches of ink on paper.]

Day 9

[Robin studies it for a moment, trying to decide if this is some actual language or just hen scratchings. After a moment, she decides that it's the latter. But this boy looks old enough and is polite enough to know how to write-- curious.]

I'm afraid I don't know the language. Why do you need me to read it if you wrote it?

Day 9

[He slumps a bit at that, looking miserably down at the scattered books and papers.]

It's because I can't. Read, I mean. And I can't write either, looks like. I can think the words just fine, but when I try to write them down, they turn out like that. I was hoping it's just me who can't read it...

[He sighs and glances back at Robin.] Well, thanks anyway, mister. Are you the person in charge here?

[Well Sabo, right before you approached her, Luffy was sitting down on a bench eating a nice healthy bowl of salad. When she spots Sabo coming she quickly puts it under said bench hoping he doesn't see it.

...and then he says those words.]

[Action] Day 8 1/2 BECAUSE OBVIOUSLY IT WAS DAY 81 OVER 2

[Tears swell up in her eyes and she pulls Sabo into a hug. She thinks he saw her eating salad.]

Th-thanks, Sabo. I was worried that... you wouldn't think the same of me anymore. [Since she doesn't eat meat now.]

[He pats her back comfortingly.] Now stop crying. It's all fine, okay?

O-okay. I guess I shouldn't... try to hide it anymore huh? [Wipes one of her tears away.] You don't think Ace will freak out do you?

[Hey there, runt. You meet Zoro yet? No? Well, here's your chance! He's standing by a tree, staring at the moss and wondering if it looked familiar or not.]

[Hi, marimo. Sabo's on his way to the riverside, armed with some simple fishing gear. Unlike when he's living in Mt. Corvo, he's no longer fishing to get some food and instead does it here in Luceti out of habit and boredom. When he sees the strange man with a strange green hair, Sabo stops on his tracks.

...Should he bother the guy, or let him be with his one-sided glaring match with a patch of moss? After a moment of consideration, he goes over the man.]

Hey, mister. You okay?

Hm...? [He perks up a bit. PEOPLE! Or, ah. Person. Kid. Whatever.]

I'm looking for my swords. [Because if Sabo decides to look a bit closer, Zoro's got nothing on him but the clothes on his back.]

Swords, huh... You dropped them in the forest or something?

[Well, Sabo has no idea Zoro's part of Luffy's crew yet. So for the moment, he's seeing nothing out of place here but a guy who lost his swords.]

Or something. [a.k.a. he teleported into the forest while he was asleep and dropped them in the foliage]

DAY 8 -- I AM SO SORRY I AM LATE BECAUSE THIS POST IS AWESOME

[Sadly Marco ALMOST instantly gets it. You know the rooster tipped him off because he got that horoscope too. And wound up adopting Kazooie because of it.]

Oh my god, the four of us are going to be an endless circle of this forever, aren't we? Okay, I'm glad you looked after him as a kid, he's glad I looked after Luffy later, Luffy's glad I looked after Ace in the middle -- it's a big circle of everyone being glad, aye?

[Unfortunately he just thinks Sabo is following... a different horoscope.]

How's the rooster?

DAY 8 -- I SEE NO LATE HERE

[That's.... not exactly the reaction he's expecting. And it confuses the hell out of him for several moments, before he simply shrugs to himself. Meh, the reaction still works in a roundabout way. Kinda.]

So you look after Luffy for that kind of stuff too? Then, I'm really in your debt. I bet it's not very easy dealing with the two of them like that. [Yeaaah, this might be the most confusing misunderstanding yet.]

[At that moment, Keloggs the rooster manages to make his way up to the boy's head and perch there. It raises a wing and coos a greeting to Marco. Sabo doesn't seem to find this non-rooster-y beavior weird.] He's doing good. I named him Keloggs.

DAY 8 -- YAY

Wait. In what way? [Because looking after them to try to keep them from dying is basically second nature... and it should be for Sabo too, so Marco knows he's missing something.]

[And he chirps back to Keloggs, asking the rooster how he likes the new name and home. It is totally normal to talk to birds shhh.]

Yeah? He likes that? [Reaches out a hand to pet the rooster gently if it'll allow it.

DAY 8 -- WHEEE~ <333

Y'know. Their secret! I just found out about it this morning. Now I get why you're asking for those things in your last journal entry. And... well, why Luffy's like that. [Are those enough clues, Marco?]

[Keloggs answers to the affirmative! Although he also expresses some concern about the misadventures of his new owner when he's by himself. Deliberately looking for tigers and crocodiles to fight with, for one.]

I'm not really sure. He kinda ran off when we met a wolf in the woods. [Sabo looks hopefully at Marco.] Can you ask him?

[Well it's certainly some confusing clues...] Wait wait, hold up. Ace and I just keep pranking each other back and forth, that's why I asked. Sort of a revenge thing, eh? [And because Ace wants a girlfriend. But Marco's not sure Ace wants Sabo to know that so he's not bringing it up.] Luffy is just shifted. They don't have any shared secrets like that to my knowledge?

[Nods in response to the asking Keloggs questions. He's already carrying on two conversations here, might as well make sure the second party knows what's happening.] He says you worry him. I take it you did the usual routine of looking for tigers and bears to hunt? Wait, was the wolf Moro? [Pets Keloggs' head and explains that he has a wild new best friend, but Marco would try to convince him how to stay safe when looking for adventure.]
