[Days 1-5]
[Being new in this place, it takes Sabo several hours browsing the journal to actually realize something weird is up. But since he doesn't really know anyone that much yet, and Ace and Luffy (although with more boobs) are more or less themselves, Sabo shrugs this off and spends his days in the forest, training by fighting wild animals trying to eat him or fishing by the river.]

[Day 6, Action]
[There is a rooster in Sabo's room today. It's nestled on his chest when he woke up so he and the chicken exchanged peaceful, post-sleep stares before Sabo's brain catches up to what's actually happening. This is followed by the sound of a young boy flailing and yelling, flapping wings and loud, indignant squawking. Several minutes and multiple scratches later, Sabo quickly flips his journal open to find a strange message: Adopt a chicken. ...Okay, he doesn't know what to make of that.]

Uh, hey! Is anyone missing a pet? Er... A chicken? I--no, it's a rooster, actually. He might've wandered in my room and---Hey, stop that! [Said rooster now nudges its way into the screen, and just when it looks like it's going to crow like a normal rooster, it coos. Sabo manages to wrench the journal away.] So yeah, if this guy's yours, give me a call! I'll bring him back. [After that, Sabo goes outside to explore. And tagging persistently after him is a rooster.]

[Day 7, Action]
You have something in your teeth.

[Something's different about Sabo today, and those who know what he normally looks like would notice it at once. Perfect set of teeth. And this will last all week.]

[Day 8, Action]
You have a gay sibling. Shhh.

[Ace, Luffy... If you run into your little bro around, he'll be walking right up to you, give you a hug, and very solemnly say:] No matter what your choices in life are, you have my full support!

[Marco... he's going to be a little more weird to you. He'll actually bow his head while shaking your hand.] You're helping Ace all the time, right? Thank you very much for that. I guess he might get a bit shy for that kind of thing.

[Note: gay = okama in this kid's head. It explains Luffy's boobs, okay?]

[Day 9-10, Action]
[You will become illiterate as soon as you finish this sentence.

And sure enough, the once readable text is now a bunch of undecipherable squiggles. For someone who dreams of writing a book, this is one very horrible, horrible thing to happen. This day is going to be spent in frantic search of books, of any reading materials actually, and he'll end up making a bit of a mess in the library.]

[All throughout the week, the adopted rooster eventually named "Keloggs" after one particular cereal brand he saw in the food shop will be sticking by his side. Feel free to run into him everywhere!]

Nope, I just got here. [He briefly studes the man. Grumpy with a hard look in his eyes, but doesn't seem to be an honestly bad guy. Hmm, yep, Sabo can deal with that sort.] Want some help looking? It's a pretty big forest to search alone.

[Helping people seems to be a good way to pass time here. In fact, Sabo might be bored enough to help the guy even if he refused the offer. But it's nicer to ask first, right?]

[Zoro's no stranger to asking random kids for help. He nods, once, then looks off to the west. If only he could re-trace his steps...] Let's start over there.

[...Are you sure that's west? Still, Sabo has no reason to doubt you (yet), so he starts walking to that direction.]

So the last place you saw them was by the river? How did you end up losing them anyway?

I think I lost them by a tree. Woke up in the forest all of a sudden [note the curiously unconcerned tone of voice! 8Db] Looked around but when I came back they were gone.

[More like he wandered off and lost all sense of where he'd started but, hey. Details.]

Oi, oi. That's a really vague description, mister! Have you gotten lost then? [Yeah, it needs to be asked, Zoro.]

Can you remember anything specific from where you woke up, like... I dunno, maybe some landmark?

I'm not lost. [... his shifty eyes would beg to differ.] Landmarks... There was moss on the side of the tree. And a bush. [Did the tree have three branches or four? HRMM... B|a]

[Really, you're going to lie to a kid? And well, you know, he lived with Luffy, so he can recognize what that shifty eyes mean. He was going to be nice about it, but then--]

ARE YOU AN IDIOT?! Everyone knows the sun moves! And what the hell's with that kind of thinking?! WE'LL BE HERE FOR DAYS!

[Hear that? He's not planning on leaving you by your hopeless self!]

SHUT UP!!! [Now with extra exclamation points!] You figure it out, then!

[Breathing deeply. Okay, he's calm again. Somewhat.] Well, if we're gonna work together, first things first. The name's Sabo. What's yours?

[Wow, verbal abuse from a kid. This place is really starting to feel like home. Don't mind if his answer is a bit sulky as a result.] Zoro. Roronoa Zoro.

[Well he is from home so... it counts? But that name makes him stop completely. Wait a minute. Now that he thinks about it, he's seen that green hair around. With three swords. And didn't Luffy mention a Zoro in his crew?]

Hey... you don't happen to be a pirate swordsman with a rubber man as your captain, do you?

Yeah, that's me. You know Luffy? [Zoro quirks an eyebrow, curious.]

[He's never going to get tired of saying this line. Plus the faces he gets right after are very interesting too.]

[You should be flattered that Zoro's first instinct is to protect himself from what he's pretty sure is going to turn out to be DEMON CHILD FROM HELL #3. He grimaces, but remembers what a cool guy Ace was and... feels a little better about all this.

Still, Zoro wouldn't be Zoro if he wasn't wary as hell.]

He never told us he had another one.

[Yeah, he got that. It still makes him sad, but he's got a good idea why Ace and Luffy had never talked about him. And he couldn't blame them for it.

So just shrugging, and walking on.]

...It's always good to talk about people who are still alive.

... ah. [Curiously stoic, Zoro hooks a thumb through his haramaki and keeps following Sabo at an even pace.

He misses his swords.]

Thank you for taking care of him. [Said in his usual gruff tone, Zoro somehow manages to make that sound far less polite than it should be. But, all the same, he levels Sabo a quick nod.]

[He almost trips at that, and he quickly turns to face Zoro with wide eyes.] Ah, no! I should be the one thanking you!

Having a dumb little brother like that, I was worried what'll happen if he's by himself. But I heard he's gathered some really good nakama who'll always look after him. I'm really relieved!

And you're one of them. So... [He gives a short bow.] Thanks a lot.
