II. [Event: Horoscopes]

[Days 1-5]
[Being new in this place, it takes Sabo several hours browsing the journal to actually realize something weird is up. But since he doesn't really know anyone that much yet, and Ace and Luffy (although with more boobs) are more or less themselves, Sabo shrugs this off and spends his days in the forest, training by fighting wild animals trying to eat him or fishing by the river.]

[Day 6, Action]
[There is a rooster in Sabo's room today. It's nestled on his chest when he woke up so he and the chicken exchanged peaceful, post-sleep stares before Sabo's brain catches up to what's actually happening. This is followed by the sound of a young boy flailing and yelling, flapping wings and loud, indignant squawking. Several minutes and multiple scratches later, Sabo quickly flips his journal open to find a strange message: Adopt a chicken. ...Okay, he doesn't know what to make of that.]

Uh, hey! Is anyone missing a pet? Er... A chicken? I--no, it's a rooster, actually. He might've wandered in my room and---Hey, stop that! [Said rooster now nudges its way into the screen, and just when it looks like it's going to crow like a normal rooster, it coos. Sabo manages to wrench the journal away.] So yeah, if this guy's yours, give me a call! I'll bring him back. [After that, Sabo goes outside to explore. And tagging persistently after him is a rooster.]

[Day 7, Action]
You have something in your teeth.

[Something's different about Sabo today, and those who know what he normally looks like would notice it at once. Perfect set of teeth. And this will last all week.]

[Day 8, Action]
You have a gay sibling. Shhh.

[Ace, Luffy... If you run into your little bro around, he'll be walking right up to you, give you a hug, and very solemnly say:] No matter what your choices in life are, you have my full support!

[Marco... he's going to be a little more weird to you. He'll actually bow his head while shaking your hand.] You're helping Ace all the time, right? Thank you very much for that. I guess he might get a bit shy for that kind of thing.

[Note: gay = okama in this kid's head. It explains Luffy's boobs, okay?]

[Day 9-10, Action]
[You will become illiterate as soon as you finish this sentence.

And sure enough, the once readable text is now a bunch of undecipherable squiggles. For someone who dreams of writing a book, this is one very horrible, horrible thing to happen. This day is going to be spent in frantic search of books, of any reading materials actually, and he'll end up making a bit of a mess in the library.]

[All throughout the week, the adopted rooster eventually named "Keloggs" after one particular cereal brand he saw in the food shop will be sticking by his side. Feel free to run into him everywhere!]

[Robin studies it for a moment, trying to decide if this is some actual language or just hen scratchings. After a moment, she decides that it's the latter. But this boy looks old enough and is polite enough to know how to write-- curious.]

I'm afraid I don't know the language. Why do you need me to read it if you wrote it?

[He slumps a bit at that, looking miserably down at the scattered books and papers.]

It's because I can't. Read, I mean. And I can't write either, looks like. I can think the words just fine, but when I try to write them down, they turn out like that. I was hoping it's just me who can't read it...

[He sighs and glances back at Robin.] Well, thanks anyway, mister. Are you the person in charge here?

I don't know if anyone is really in charge here. But I can write it for you if it's so important.

[And it seems it must be]

Ah. No, it's fine! I was just testing testing the limits of this stupid curse thing.

Are you sure it isn't the Malnosso's doing? There seem to be a lot of experiments going around these days. If so you'll be back to normal soon enough

[GHK! Oh man, what is this sudden fear creeping up on him? Why's this guy suddenly so very creepy?!

He swallows nervously.] T-this.... this can be permanent?

It's possible. You have to be ready for anything. But I'm sure you can find a way around it.

[Though she hopes not. She's getting alarmingly too used to this kind of body]

[So true. The last time he wasn't ready for anything, he got shot down by a cannon.] ...Yeah, there's always around everything, 's long as you're alive.

[He takes the paper back, crumples it and shoves it in his coat.] But I'm not gonna waste my time worrying if it's permanent. You said stuff like this usually ends soon enough, right? Then I'm gonna put my hopes in that.

In the meantime you've made a mess in here...

[Does she have to fill in the blanks or will a look do it for her?]

Ah. Looks like I did, huh? [Looks around the mess, scratching his head sheepishly.] Don't worry, I'll fix them back up after I'm done with this section.

[Even as he says that, he begins picking some of the books and placing them in what he remembers their proper shelves. There might be a few misses here and there.] You looking for something then? Maybe I can help you out.

Not really looking for something, no. Just looking for something to do. [She leans against a nearby bookshelf]

So where is it you're from?

Hm? I'm from Dawn Island in East Blue. [Busy, busy picking up trash and shelving books.]

[Then he pauses, halfway into picking up another book, and looks at the man.] Oh, but maybe you haven't heard of it before. This place takes people from different worlds after all.

[She'll look mildly surprised for a moment. It's not often she meets someone from home that she doesn't know of. Perhaps he's aged down at the moment]

East Blue, hmm? And what is it you do there?

[He sees the reaction, but he has no idea what it meant. It could be the man heard about East Blue, know another island named Dawn, and a bunch of other reasons.

So he just shrugs and continues with his task.] I'm just a boy from the trash heap. Guess I do a lot of eat-and-runs in town. [And a whole lot of stealing money, but a stranger doesn't need to know that about him yet.]

Is that so? Interesting. You don't seem like the kind of person to be from a trash heap.

[The way he carries himself tells her one thing but a million other things besides tell her this. Though she believes that he is from the trash heap in a sense, she has the feeling it's not the entire story]

[He stiffens. Crap! He didn't expect to get this observation from this place! But then he's been told something like this countless of times before, especially during his first few months in the Gray Terminal. Maybe he could still slip past this.

So back to stacking books so very casually.] If it's the clothes you mean, there's plenty of pricey stuff from High Town that gets thrown with the trash. I just happen to like this get-up.

[You're not the best liar. And she wonders why the truth matters here? No matter where he's really from, no one in Luceti will remember it]

Mm. Well in any case, it's alright, ne? Everyone has their own secrets.

[Hey, hey, you're just way smarter than the people he usually deals with. And it unnerves him to be found out that he's with a secret this early on. He himself doubts his heritage matters here, but after rejecting it for so long, denying it is second nature.]

... I guess. [And that should've been the end of it. Buuuuuut. Curious boy is curious, so...] What made you say that anyway?

I enjoy secrets. Or, more accurately picking out the truth. (It's als a good survival skill) Not everyone or everything is as it seems.
