[It's generally agreed by the residents of CH3, Room 40 that this month? is a very, very bad month. The sooner it ends, the better everyone will feel. Probably. But on the last day of said month, it's Sabo's turn to experience its ugliness firsthand.

All day long, right from the moment he wakes up, he's going to be surrounded by a ghostly entourage of a classic noble household, comprising of a butler, a housemaid, a valet, a cook and a chauffeur, all intent on calling him their "Young Master" and attending to his each and every need or whim.

Whether Sabo wants them or not. And Sabo sure as hell doesn't want them.

From dressing up (which involves a lot of fancy aristocratic clothes, "GAH! What the hell, these aren't mine!") ...To snacks ("No, I don't want your stupid Earl Gray tea and lemon chiffon cakes! Leave me alone!") From staying indoors ("Dammit, what have you done with my room?! Quit cleaning and go away! ...AND STOP CALLING ME THAT! I'm not your master!") ...To escaping outside ("...Really? You guys even brought a damn carriage with you? ...That's it, I'm done with you stupid ghosts. ... STOP FOLLOWING ME!")

So yes, Sabo can be seen around the village plagued by his ghostly servants, growing more and more irritable with each call of "Young Master!". To strangers, this might seem all well and good, as the ghosts really do make a good job of their services. But to a noble-born kid who doesn't want to be treated or known as such? This is one highly successful prank.

All this because he'd shut the door to the faces of some trick or treating ghosts last night.

Finally, he gives up and turns to the journal for help.]

[Voice]

Do you guys have any idea how to drive the damn ghosts away? I... I could use some help here.

[He can't blame her. The damn carriage is intriguing!] I'm guessing it fell off a cliff or something? And it brought down the driver and the horse too? They all look pretty messed up, with broken necks and stuff.

[;; he's usually nicer, but bad month is baaaaad and so he's cranky and wouldn't give a damn about the silly ghosts. He knows better now. orz] Yeah, that's what I think. They seem to know what pisses people off real good!

[Blinks.] ...Eh?! You know how?

[ Ewwww. Sabo, she didn't need those details! ...Except she's totally interested in this, leaning forward. ] So, d'you think that means everything can have a ghost? Like, if I ripped up a picture, would that picture have a ghost, too? And if we eat things, do they have ghosts, then?

But she giggles at the question. ]

Well, I am a nun! [ Just like her grandfather was a monk! ...It's a cultural thing, okay.

And she might just be in training. 8| DETAILS. ] I know a chant or two to get rid of evil spirits, but I dunno if that would work? I mean, they don't seem evil so much as kinda annoying to some people and silly to others, you know?

But I can try!

[He hasn't even started on the falling eyeballs, gosh! And look at him attempting to ponder this deep, philosophical topic.] Nope, not every stuff can be a ghost, I think. Like the thing's gotta be really important to the dead guy for it to have a ghost of itself? Maybe the carriage and the horse were the driver's important treasures before he died, so they materialize with him in ghost form...

Uh... so nuns' can do that sort of thing? Banish spirits with some sort of prayer? [Guess who's not very familiar with religious/spiritual(and ok)/cultural stuff? One can almost say the nearest thing to worship he personally knows is the nobles' fanatical obsession with the Celestial Dragons.]

Ah but yeah, sure! Anything to get rid of these guys. Where'd you wanna meet up?

[ This is the deepest most philosophical of topics. Ikki's pretty certain that idea makes sense, so there's more nodding along. ] That would make sense, 'cause otherwise there'd be too many ghosts, right? But what if the most important thing to someone is, um, THE WORLD? [ THEN WHAT? ]

...Well, supposedly. I've never seen a ghost before here, though. [ Honesty! But hey, she's also not the Avatar, who usually gets to see that sort of thing. ] And I'm not sure if it would work on a ghost from a world that isn't my world, or if it works on all ghosts???

But it's worth a try!! And...the fountain? [ That's nice and central - oh wait that's also taken over by ghosts, the last thing they need is more ghosts. 8| ] ...Wait, nevermind, how about the south-most bridge over the river?

[THE WORLD?! Would a world have a ghost? This is a good question. More thoughtful chin-rubbing.] Eh, but the thing's gotta be destroyed before it becomes a ghost, right? If the World's destroyed, I'm pretty sure it having a ghost wouldn't matter anymore 'cause we'd all be dead to care about it.

And we're not even sure if 'ghosts' and 'spirits' mean the same thing, huh. Well, whatever! We'll find out once we tried, na?

Alright. The south-most bridge it is! [And he'll start heading towards there, leaving the journal on, while his ghostly servants efficiently provides him with a large tattered parasol to keep the sun away. Other than giving them a scowl, Sabo ignores both ghost and parasol and stomps away.]

Well, we might care! 'Cause if we were ghosts and the World was a ghost, then we'd get to be on that ghost of the world, right? [ RIGHT? ...Oh, but actually: ] ...If the world were a ghost and we were ghosts, would we notice?

Right! And at least if it doesn't work you'll know one more way not to get rid of 'em?

[ Ikki's going to leave her journal on, too, just stopping to tug on her shoes at the door of house 56 - hopping outside with just one on but getting the other on before she was entirely off the front steps - before running along towards the bridge. ]

[Oh, she's coming from across the river? He's rather close to the bridge too, coming from CH3.]

Hmm... Probably not. Unless the world gets destroyed bit by bit and not all at once suddenly, I don't think we're gonna notice at all. We'd probably go about doing normal everyday stuff, without knowing we're all ghosts by then.

Yup. I actually have a friend who can make ghosts, so I was thinking of asking her for help too, if I'm not lucky with this.

[ They'll meet on the bridge coming from opposite directions, yep. Ikki should take a little bit longer, since she's a little bit further and started a few seconds later. ]

What d'you think could destroy a world bit by bit? One of the sea kings who eats islands??

[ Oh, NEAT. There's clear interest and excitement in her voice now. ] You have a friend who can make ghosts?!

[He'll arrive in another minute or two, but upon seeing no one there yet, he'll move by the riverbank to skip stones while waiting. With one of his ghostly servants still shading him with the parasol hovering above him.]

Probably! If they keep on eating islands like that, there'll be nothing but the seas left. Maybe the world will drown? Well, anyway! I heard Whitebeard, Ace and Marco's old man, was known to have the power to destroy the world because of his Devil Fruit. He was a Quake Man!

Yeah. Her name's Perona, and that's her Devil Fruit ability. Her ghosts aren't like these guys though! They're-- [W-wait a sec. He promised Perona he won't tell anyone about her abilities, didn't he.] A-ah, but that's all I know, really. You should go meet her! I'm sure she'll like you enough to show 'em to you.

What's a Quake Man do? Earthquakes??

[ it's cool, Sabo, Ikki has a lot of promised secrets, too. That sounds pretty cool, though. Ghosts that aren't like these! ] I'll make sure to try an' talk to her next time I get a chance!

[ And that might have had a double-voice effect, because Ikki makes it to the bridge as she says that, snapping the journal shut immediately after. ]

Not just earthquakes, I heard. He could make even the air quake! I bet he could make tremors that'll make tsunamis so big it'll flood the whole world!

She's easy enough to spot, with her hair really long and pink. [And then he's turning towards the bridge and calling out as he waves.] Oiiii! Over here!

[ Spotted! Ikki skids to a stop in front of Sabo, grinning. ] Pink hair???? That sounds so pretty! And quaking the air sounds dangerous.

[ and cool. ALSO COOL.

And she's going to be looking at his ghostly entourage now. Time to get professional on them! ...No, she's just gawking. ]

[Sabo grins back once she's near enough.] She likes creepy stuff like bats, cobwebs and old abandoned castles too. As for the quakes... huh, we gotta ask Marco and Ace more about it, I guess.

[And the ghostly entourage will turn to welcome "Young Lady" Ikki all sparkly-like (ala the Ouran HS Host Club) by bowing/curtsying. Even offering her cake, tea and a seat on a comfy picnic blanket they managed to set up while Sabo isn't looking.

Despite the various looks of decay, they don't seem so bad, right? 8'D

Sabo's back to scowling at them, though.] Oi, oi. Don't include her in this, you bastards.

[ Holy crap how did all of that stuff get here. Ikki's kind of wide eyed, although she has to admit they don't seem that bad - although she's also somehow managed to coexist with the other town spirits without much problems.

Is that a real picnic basket or what? She'll be going over to touch it and see if it looks okay to sit on, anyway. And offers the ghosts a hesitant smile. WAY TO LOSE FOCUS, IKKI. ]

Ummm, what's "this", anyway? ...This isn't like the other pranks I've seen!
